I’m really surprised that out of all those officers, none of them know anything about guns. Actually, I’ll back up, one guy knew a SBR requires a tax stamp, but didn’t know what differentiates an SBR from a pistol. I don’t agree with the need to tax an SBR anyway. It’s such an insignificant difference between the two, why on earth would you ever pay for an SBR stamp when you can now throw a brace on it and be fine?

the problem with open carry is it freaks people TF out and does more harm than good. I'm 100% 2a,/repeal the NFA but someone open carrying one of these, while completely legal, is just absolutely stupid and again does more harm than good. Well i dont know law or no law i think theres some common sense issues here. I carry , i have an ar but iam not shure i would be comfortable walkin thru a park where kids are playing to provoke a response. This gives people who want self defence kinda a controvertial bad name. Cops have a tough job with wackos going on a shooting spree. Iam all for conceal carry 2nd amendment by law abiding common sense people whos only motive is protection in the case of terany , defence of self and the innocent. As long as your not committing any crime all they can constitutional do is question you then walk away and leave you alone. Im way too worried about being riddled with bullet holes to do this kind of stuff but I have to ask, why are law enforcement officers not kept up to date with gun laws ? This stuff is exactly their line of work and being able to identify what is and what is not "legal" by sight alone should be a requirement. I realize this video is dated but thugs are literally running around posting videos of themselves shooting full auto glocks with no consequence while law abiding citizens are facing more scrutiny than ever. The guys in this video are obviously not "gun guys" but that's really not an excuse.

The pistol brace is an obscure loophole in the grand scheme of laws, I don’t know if you “ patriots “ have ever looked at a law book, but it is quite large. Even doctors need to refer to medical texts. Also to walk around the park with a tactical rifle, slung in a tactical position is purposely seeking negative attention just so the police will show up and you can perform an“audit”. The cops on scene don’t give a shit about your pistol brace. They give a shit about whether or not you were there to shoot people. I am a big fan of the second amendment, I think people should be allowed to own whatever. I don’t walk around the park with a rifle that I’m calling a “pistol” looking for attention. The pistol brace is a loophole, and we all fucking know it. I think the NFA is stupid and should be repealed. Why is it that boomers have excepted the NFA making SBR’s illegal as the law of the land for decades, before gun company started coming up with pistol braces that were practically stocks. I remember the first generation of pistol braces were stupid looking, not able to be used as a stock and hardly anyone was impressed by them. People excepted the ATF allowing pistol braces. When the ATF decided to not allow them, now people get all upset. My point is perhaps people should spend their time challenging the NFA instead of fucking around with loopholes like bump, stocks, and pistol braces while on their walk through the park. And you could’ve been walking around with mini 14 and the police would’ve showed up just the same.

Imagine being stopped by the law in any other time in history for carrying a firearm. I used to have rifles in the gun rack of my trucks back while parked at my high school. The founders are rolling over in their graves for what this country has become. The more they stigmatize and ban guns, the more you need to be carrying one at all times!

I contacted multiple parties shooting in National Forest while on patrol for the Sheriffs office. I never called that many officers of any for cover. Some were sketchy contacts and few felony arrests, however never was scared to the point I called in that kind of backup. It’s called intimidation
